Clinical social work supervision

Individual clinical supervision by an experienced qualified social worker manager

Supervision is an important part of staff support and wellbeing. This maybe for personal supervision to reflect on the impact that the work is having on them or a particular issue that is impacting on their work. This may also include working on their goals and career development, peer dynamics, ethics or any discrimination that they may be experiencing. Depending on the work setting they may hold cases or be supporting adults or children, for example in a clinical setting or in social work. A lot more companies or agencies are finding that it is beneficial for this to be undertaken by an external Supervisor.

Group work

Group supervision, Reflective group sessions, mediation or restorative practice support a positive work place. It helps to connect staff and ensures a cohesive working environment. It ensures that any issues that are impacting on the team’s dynamics are explored and addressed. This can also lead to less sick days or internal complaints. Having an external facilitator demonstrates trust and that you support your team.
